How this site handles what you share.
Heart & Science International (HSI) collects only what you type into a form on this site, uses it only to respond to you, and never sells or shares it. This page says exactly what that means.

What each form collects
- Contact form (Contact HSI) and the message form on the home page: your full name, email address, organization, what you are reaching out about, and your message.
- Keynote booking request (Keynotes): your name, organization, email address, phone number, event date, audience size, preferred format, and your message.
- Resource Vault access (Resources): your email address. By providing it, you agree that HSI may contact you.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required; anything you leave blank is not collected, and nothing is collected from you unless you submit a form.
How HSI uses it
Your information is used only to respond to your inquiry. It is never sold or shared. HSI reads your message, replies to the address you gave, and keeps the email thread the way any business keeps its correspondence. Sending a message does not put you on a mailing list.
If you enter your email address on the Resources page, it opens the HSI Resource Vault, and by providing it you agree that HSI may contact you in the future. HSI keeps your email address together with the date you provided it and the consent sentence shown beside the form. You can ask HSI to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any HSI email or writing to info@hsiorg.com. Your browser also remembers that you signed up on this device, so the vault opens without asking again; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
Who handles it
Form submissions are emailed by this website’s own server directly to HSI’s mailbox, info@hsiorg.com. Nothing you submit is stored on this website itself, and no third-party form service receives it.
Resource Vault sign-ups are the one exception: your email address is stored in HSI’s own database on Google Cloud (Firebase) and copied to a private HSI sign-up spreadsheet in Google Drive, and the vault’s files are delivered from HSI’s Google Drive. Google processes this data on HSI’s behalf.
This site is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs, such as the address that requested a page and when. HSI does not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how it is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (a search engine, LinkedIn, a shared link), and when a form is completed or a resource is downloaded. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and records usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your approximate region — never your name, your email address, or anything you type into a form. Google processes this data on HSI’s behalf, and Google Analytics 4 does not store individual IP addresses. To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Videos on this site are plain links to YouTube with a preview image hosted here. Nothing loads from YouTube until you choose to open a video, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies once you do. The same is true of links to Amazon, LinkedIn, SAM.gov, SBA.gov, and The Behavioral Toolbox: each is a separate site with its own privacy practices.
The “Latest from HSI” list on the home page is loaded from HSI’s own server and collects nothing from you. Its links can lead to other sites, each with its own privacy practices.
Your requests
To see, correct, or delete anything you have submitted, or to stop HSI updates, email info@hsiorg.com. HSI responds within two business days.
Changes to this page
When the way this site handles information changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date at the top is updated.
